Now, former GOP Rep. Trey Gowdy — once an advocate of Congress’s oversight powers — has joined President Donald Trump’s personal legal team in its fight against the House impeachment inquiry.
Trump’s lawyer Jay Sekulow said on Wednesday night:
I am pleased to announce that former Congressman Trey Gowdy is joining our team as Counsel to the President. I have known Trey for years and worked with him when he served in Congress. His legal skills and his advocacy will serve the President well. Trey’s command of the law is well known and his service on Capitol Hill will be a great asset as a member of our team.
In a sign that he’d be joining Team Trump, Fox News issued a statement earlier Wednesday saying he’d “been terminated and is no longer a contributor.
Trump is beefing up his defense team as his administration notified the House Tuesday that they would not participate in what it called Democrats’ “illegitimate” impeachment probe.
White House Counsel Pat Cipollone wrote in a letter to House Democratic leaders Monday that their inquiry has processed in a “manner that violates fundamental fairness and constitutionally mandated due process” and “lacks any legitimate constitutional foundation” or “pretense of fairness.”

Yee haw!! Lets get this horse and pony show going. Adam and Pelosi need to be made to shut their lying pie holes so Trump can get his 4 more years which he has earned by all the great things he has done for we the people. He has been the only president to do what he promised, to work for us and not making the rich and corrupted even richer. I think an employee job evaluation should be done on those who are going against our president, followed by a pay reduction for those who did no work in the pass 3 years.
