A.G Barr Hands Down Massive Replacement Order Over Epstein’s Death - Finally Some Action

Attorney General William Barr has ordered the immediate removal of acting US prisons director, this massive decision came after Epstein, a 66-year-old financier, was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell earlier this month as he awaited trial on charges of sex trafficking of minors and sex trafficking conspiracy.

In a statement Monday, the attorney general said he will name Kathleen Hawk Sawyer the new director of the Federal Bureau of Prisons. She will succeed Hugh Hurwitz, acting director of the agency that oversees inmates in federal prisons. Barr also said Barr said he will appoint Thomas Kane as deputy director of the prisons bureau. Meanwhile, Hurwitz will lead the agency’s Reentry Services Division, according to the attorney general.

“The Department of Justice failed, and today Jeffrey Epstein’s co-conspirators think they might have just gotten one last sweetheart deal,” Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Neb., wrote in a fiery letter to Attorney General William Barr on Saturday.
Epstein’s death comes a day after a trove of court documents was unsealed providing new details about his alleged crimes. Epstein was arrested July 6 in Teterboro, New Jersey, and was charged with one count of sex trafficking conspiracy and one count of sex trafficking. Unanswered questions — like how an inmate previously reported to have been on suicide watch was able to kill himself in federal custody — and concern for his alleged victims united lawmakers on both the left and the right Saturday.

My love for politics is unusual because I don't love it for the same reasons a lot of people do. I love politics because it challenges me. For me, being involved in politics isn't about having an opinion about every issue. It is about learning both sides of each issue and being fascinated by them. There are very few political issues that I have strong opinions on. The rest I either have yet to educate myself on or I understand both sides and have yet to choose which one I agree with.
