During an interview on Fox News with Sean Hannity Thursday night, Rep. Devin Nunes discussed the recent reports relating to how Comey and McCabe “trapped” Micheal Flynn during the FBI’s Russia investigation; calling both McCabe and Comey dirty cops.
Comey was involved in one case of prosecutorial misconduct when he sent FBI agents to interview Lt. General Michael Flynn at the White House when the administration was unprepared, ultimately setting up a perjury trap.
Comey admitted in a June 8 hearing that he leaked internal memos through a friend to The New York Times in hopes of spurring calls for the appointment of a special counsel.
In another turn out of event, Comey referred to the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails a “matter” instead of an “investigation.”
